Today was a great day. I decide to blog about it because I don't ever want to forget it. I want to remember it when someday Luke and I have a family and I will be busy chasing kids around, cleaning up messes , going to p.t.a meetings...and whatever else moms do.
Luke left for southern Italy yesterday. Today I slept in until noon with no interuptions. I sipped my cappucino at my favorite Italian cafe. I went home, took a long shower and got ready to go the city center for some shopping. After trying on a million pairs of boots I finally found some super cute ones and a dress for 70% off.
The square in Ferrara had a farmers market with local produce, honey, and olive oil. I bought ingredients to make myself a gourmet dinner. (A delicious, healthy salad that Luke would never eat)
I am now on my second glass of wine and about to watch my hubs play basketball on TV. And the best part is I think I'm going to leave the dishes in the sink until tomorrow......
